What is the Ecological Gifts Program?
An ecogift is a donation of land or a partial interest in land – such as a conservation easement – that has been certified as “ecologically sensitive” according to specific national and provincial criteria. Donors receive a tax receipt for the full value of their ecogift which can be applied against 100% of their net annual income.
